Kate Middleton: Queen of Hats
Fabulous feather cap
Forget her future husband, what makes Kate so regal is her ability to pull off some of the strangest hats ever created. Most people can't hold their head up in a nest of feathers or a cap the size of a small UFO, but Kate is the exception. Most recently, a velvet cap trimmed in pheasant feathers from Vivien Sheriff Millinery put her skills to the test. She wore it for her first public outing with her future husband this week. Despite the wind and the crush of oversized feathers, Kate was the picture of elegance. Bottom line: Woman knows how to wear a hat, and she expects her bridal party to as well. Milliner Phillip Treacy has been hired by the bride to design hats for members of the wedding party. If they're anything like the crazy toppers Kate's worn to past weddings and events, her guests will need a lesson from the master.
