Beckham arrives at Spurs as they bid to revive loan deal for England veteran
David Beckham made his much-anticipated arrival at Tottenham's training ground today as they attempted to revive his short-term loan move for the former England captain.
The 35-year-old has been given permission by his club Los Angeles Galaxy to train with the Barclays Premier League club until February 10 in a bid to stay fit.
The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder was assessed by Tottenham's medical staff at the club's Essex HQ but did not link up with the players and manager Harry Redknapp, who were awarded a day off after Sunday's FA Cup win over Charlton.

After arriving at 10.15am with his white boots in hand, Beckham soon emerged wearing the club's training kit before departing at midday in a black Audi, still wearing the blue Tottenham tracksuit.
Beckham then returned to Spurs Lodge for a second time after 1pm in a busy start to his first day with the club.

He will be back at Chigwell on Tuesday morning to train with the Spurs first-team squad, who take on Beckham's former club Manchester United on Sunday.
The north London outfit frantically continue their attempts to broker a deal that will allow the world's most recognised footballer to play for Redknapp's side.

On Sunday, ahead of Tottenham's 3-0 FA Cup third-round win, Redknapp had conceded Beckham's move was a 'no-goer'.
But hours later the Spurs boss was forced to back-track on his statement, insisting the deal to bring Beckham to White Hart Lane was still on.
Beckham, whose season at LA Galaxy begins on March 15, wants a deal which will allow him to play a full role for Tottenham.
Manager Redknapp said: 'We hope it could still happen. The situation is ongoing. It's being done above my head.'
Redknapp had previously indicated that 'insurance issues' might prove too big an obstacle to a loan.
'That's what I was led to believe, but apparently that's not the case,' he said later.
